Current Research Activities
Characterization of bioactive compounds, mechanism of action and toxicity studies of some of our indigenous food plants that could be used in the management of Diabetes Mellitus. We are also carrying on research works centered on the recognition, identification and quantification of hazardous chemicals/toxins resulting from occupational and dietary exposures to chemicals and public health aspects of chemicals in air, water, other parts of the environment, foods and plant foods.
